PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the propagation of molds in an electric instrument by a method wherein a humidity sensor is provided at a proper position in an electric instrument or a room and a ventilating fan, a heating device and the like are controlled so as to permit the continuation of a relative humidity, in which the hyphae of molds die out, for a predetermined period of time. SOLUTION: When control mechanism 11 is operated upon interruption or finish of using of an air conditioner, indoor air is circulated in a room including the inside of an indoor machine main body 1 so as to evaporate forcibly condensed water staying in a drain pan 7, a decorative cover 8, a duct 9, an airflow direction deflecting plate 10 and the like by operating only an indoor fan 3 in the control mechanism 11. The control mechanism is also provided with a control function to promote the evaporation of the drain pan 7 and reduce the humidity of an air filter 6 by operating a heater 22 other than the indoor fan 3. On the other hand, a humidity sensor for detecting a humidity in the room is provided while a compressor is operated so as to retain humidity and time, in which molds in the room die out. |
