PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating support device able to be quickly assembled in simple steps by having a bearing that enables the hub to rotate freely in the axle assembled by inserting a ring element, in which the outer surface is formed substantially in a cone shape, between an inside ring and the axle so as to be in a form of a wedge. SOLUTION: The ball bearing 11, which is interposed at both ends of the axle 6 between the axle 6 and the hub 1 that is attached thereto, is composed of an inside ring 11a rotatably connected to the axle 6, an outside ring 11b rotatably connected to the hub 1, and a plurality of balls rotatably interposed between rings 11a and 11b. Attachment of the rotating support device is performed by inserting in the form of a wedge a ringlike element 13, in which the outer surface 13a is formed in a substantially cone shape, between the axle 6 and the inside ring 11a of the bearing 11. The ring nut 16 which has been screwed to the end of the axle 6, is screwed so as to apply a pressure force on the ringlike element 13. Then, the ring nut 16 is locked by tightening a clamp screw 16b. |
