PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relative movement device provided with a rolling element such as a direct-acting rolling guide unit capable of lubricating the rolling element by arranging a lubrication ring between the rolling elements rolling on an existing raceway without changing the conventional specification. SOLUTION: Balls 7 comprising a large number of steel balls are interposed in a raceway 26 formed between a relatively moving raceway rail 2 applied to a directacting rolling guide unit and raceway surfaces 4, 9 on a slider 1 side. A lubrication ring 22 provided with a spherical recessed part where a part of the balls 7 are fitted from each side is arranged between the balls. A window is formed in the center of the lubrication ring 22 so that the balls 7, 7 are brought into contact with each other. The lubrication ring 22 can be obtained by mixing turbine oil in the polyethylene powder of super-high molecular weight as a resin material, and heating the mixture.
