PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polypropylene resin composition for a film which gives a film well-balanced in appearance, transparency and antiblocking properties, the composition comprising polypropylene polymer particles, obtained by using a highly active catalyst, with a large average particle size and a low content of fine particles, and an antiblocking agent. SOLUTION: This composition comprises 10 pts.wt. of polypropylene polymer particles which have an average particle size of 500-1,000 μm and contain 10 wt.% or less of fine particles with a size of 500 μm or less and 0.01-0.7 pts.wt. of fine spherical particles of magnesium silicate having an average particle size of 1.0-4.0 μm, a magnesium oxide content of 40 wt.% or less, a sphericity (Fx) of 0.7 or more, a specific surface area by the BET method of 500 m<2> /g or more and an oil absorption of 180 ml/100 g or less. |
