PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression molding for a plastic product containing a closure. SOLUTION: In a method and apparatus for the compression molding of a plastic product containing a closure, cooperating tool sets 27, 28 are used and the first tool set 27 moves a core and a core sleeve to the second tool set 28 to bring them into engagement with a cavity mold. An actuator 34 is provided between the first tool set 27 and an upper fixed cam 29 and the second tool set has the actuator supporting a cavity mold and cooperating with a lower fixed cam 31. The nitrogen cylinder provided in the second tool set controls compression molding force and, in a pref. form, tools forming a plurality of sets are provided on the rotary turret 22 supported by a central support so as to provide an interval in a circumferential direction. A common manifold supplies pressure of accurately controlled in level to each nitrogen cylinder. A control apparatus monitoring pressure to change the same is provided. |
