PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition satisfying both excellent heat resistance and hot water resistance, and a pump component composed thereof. SOLUTION: This resin composition comprises (a) 5-95 pts.wt. of a styrene- based polymer of a syndiotactic structure, (b) 50-5 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler and (c) 5-30 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the total of the components (a) and (b), of a pseudo-random copolymer of anα-olefin with an aromatic monovinylidene compound and has a hydraulic pressure rupture strength of 75 kgf/cm<2> , wherein the hydraulic pressure rupture strength means a pressure when a cylindrical joint (80 mm in outer diameters, 75 mm in inner diameter and 150 mm in length), obtained from this resin composition by means of injection molding and, connected to a piping is ruptured by a hydraulic pressure of water of 90 deg.C. In addition, there is provided a pump component composed of the resin composition. |
