<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the expanding motion of an air bag corresponding to the inadequate posture of an occupant by informing the use condition of a detonating means scheduled on the basis of the present output signal of a detecting means by a control means before the expansion of the air bag. SOLUTION: In a seat sensor unit 18, plural pressure sensors 35 are buried in an assistant's seat 13 for detecting the existence of the seating of the occupant, the weight of the occupant and the seating posture, the transmit-receive antennas 131, 132 buried inside of the assistant's seat 13 are connected to perform the radiocommunication with a transponder 121 mounted on a child seat 12, and a signal received by a receiving antenna 131 is converted on the basis of a prescribed format to be sent to a control unit 11. The control unit forbits the expansion regardless of the mounting direction of the child seat 12 on the basis of the present output signal of an occupant detection sensor 34 before the expansion of the air bag, and informs the scheduled use condition of an inflator 16 for the assistant's seat.</p> |
