PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure good finish accuracy relating to all work surfaces, and prevent decreasing in a tool life. SOLUTION: In the case of finish working a surface of a recessed part 104 formed in a workpiece W, an end mill EM is turn moved along the outermost periphery of a slope 103, thereafter while gradually moved to an inner side, and turned along a peripheral direction. Here, in working a surface of the slope 103, relating to this surface, a moving route of the end mill EM is selected (counterclockwise direction) so as to perform a down cut. In finish work of a bottom surface 101, the end mill EM is moved from the internal periphery toward the external periphery, that is, relating to a surface thus worked, a moving route of the end mill EM is selected so as to perform a down cut. |
