PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high removal decomposition capacity, to facilitate packing in a cartridge, and to reduce a pressure loss during water passage by an method in which a powdery adsorbent whose outside diameter is less than a specified value is adhesion-fixed by using a binder, and is made in the form of granules having a diameter of a specified value. SOLUTION: A cartridge 12 is provided with a housing frame 50, a projecting part which is to be engaged with the engagement part fixing guide of a main body 11, and a partition plate 51 to which a filter 52 which partitions an introduction route and a granular adsorbent 53 is fixed, and a powdery adsorbent of less than 150μm outside diameter is adhesion-fixed with the use of a binder. A granular adsorbent layer 53 in the shape of granules of 15μm-5.6μm outside diameter, a partition plate 54 to which a filter 55 which partitions the adsorbent 53 and a filter chamber, hollow fiber membranes 56, a fixing member 57 which fixes the membranes 56 to the frame 50, a purified water catchment chamber in which filtered purified water is collected, and purified water outlet are constituents. In this way, a kind of fine powder of less than 150μm outside diameter is eliminated, and the scattering of a kind of fine powder is prevented during the packing of activated carbon when the granular adsorbent is packed in the cartridge and others to improve workability.
