PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive, reusable, and safe hanging hook such that, when a load not smaller than a set value is applied, a base and a hook main body are disengaged from each other by the action of a spring means so that, before the hook itself is broken, the base and the hook main body are separated from each other, with the base and the hook main body capable of being returned into a mutually locked state by use of the elasticity of the spring means intervening between them. SOLUTION: A hanging hook comprises a base 1 hung from a high place such as a ceiling and a hook main body 2 projected downward from the base, the hook main body having a hook head 3 of a large cross-sectional shape at its upper end. A spring means is interposed between the base and the hook head, and when a load not smaller than a set value given to the spring means as applied, the base and the hook main body are disengaged from each other against the action of the sprung means. Also, an opening mechanism 5 for keeping an open state against the elasticity of the spring means is provided. |
