PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the transpositional use of apparatuses by making the horizontal drum shaped rotary container of a powder and granular material treatment apparatus and a driving unit separable from each other. SOLUTION: A horizontal drum-shaped rotary container 1A of a powder and granular material apparatus and a driving unit 1B consisting of a hollow rotary shaft 25 for rotating the container 1A and a driving device 35 are arranged to be linked integrally and separably from each other through a distributor 1C. The distributor 1C is composed of the first rotary disk valve 34 which can communicate with a ventilation duct 33 installed to be able to ventilate the container 1A and the second rotary disk valve 50 which has a communication hole 50a which agrees with the communication hole 33b of the valve 34 and is installed integrally on the hollow rotary shaft 25.
