<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recycling a wire harness which enables the recovery of metals such as copper in a high yield and regeneration of other materials such as a resin for reuse. SOLUTION: A wire harness comprising metals such as copper and a polyvinylalcohol is fed to tetrahydrofuran which can dissolves the polyvinylalcohol. The polyvinylalcohol is separated by a fractional distillation of the tetrahydrofuran, which permits easy recovery of the metals such as copper and regeneration of the polyvinylalcohol for reuse.</p> |
