PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for attaching the slider cover of a cylinder unit which can assuredly prevent the contact of a slider with the slider cover without being accompanied by the increase of the number of part items and the increase of a cost. SOLUTION: A cylinder unit U1 comprises a cylinder tube 2 provided with a slider 4, a frame 1 storing the cylinder tube 2 and a pair of side plates 7, 8 arranged at both the ends of the cylinder tube 2. When a long platelike slider cover 15 is attached between both these side plates 7, 8, the slider cover 15 is installed between both these side plates 7, 8 under a condition that tension is applied in the longitudinal direction of the slider cover 15. |
