PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cleaning porous body, a sound absorption/insulation body for gas cleaning and sound insulation and a waste gas cleaning/sound absorption- insulation system capable of realizing practical effects on environmental equipment at a low equipment cost by effectively detoxifying waste gases such as NOx , SOx and the like and noises simultaneously by a single unit of equipment. SOLUTION: This gas cleaning porous body 1 is provided with a gas cleaning coating film 5 containing a photocatalyst on at least outer surfaces of outer surfaces of a body comprising a porous plate or porous tube having a large number of open cells and circumferential surfaces of the open cells. A sound absorption/insulation body 3 is provided with a gas cleaning porous body 1 as a front surface material and a hollow body 2 having a closed hollow layer as a rear face material provided in contact with a rear face side of the gas cleaning porous body 1. This system comprises an assembly of a sound absorption-insulation body 3 for gas cleaning and sound insulation and an evacuating means 4 for evacuating the hollow body 2 to a negative pressure and detoxification of the waste gas and noises is effected simultaneously. |
