PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a moisture-absorbing and releasing filament nonwoven fabric having excellent moisture-absorbing and releasing properties, high strength and good dimensional stability. SOLUTION: This nonwoven fabric is composed of filaments having sheath and core conjugated structures composed of sheath components of a polyamide or a polyester, and core components of a polyalkylene oxide-modified product or a mixture of the modified product with the polyamide or the polyester, and regulated so that the polyalkylene oxide-modified product of the core component may occupy 5-30 wt.% of the fiber weight, and keeps the prescribed shape by partial thermocompression welding. |
