<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master cylinder improved in suppression of liquid leak. SOLUTION: A master cylinder comprises a cylinder body 2 having a cylinder hole 2a and a cylindrical protruding part 2c protrudable into a constant pressure chamber 42 of a vacuum type booster and airtightly fitted to an opening part 41a of a front shell 41 of the vacuum type booster, and a piston 3 disposed in the cylinder hole 2a slidably in a liquid-tight state through an annular sealing member 14 disposed at the opening part of the cylinder body 2. In this case, a sealing means 30 coming in liquid-tight contact with the outer periphery of the piston 3 at a point closer to the vacuum type booster side than to the annular sealing member 14 is disposed at the cylinder body 2.</p> |
