<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a spunbonded material excellent in tensile strength. SOLUTION: This method for producing a spunbonded material having an improved tensile strength comprises (1) continuously extruding a propylene homopolymer or a propylene/ethylene random copolymer, having about 3 to about 30 g/10 min melt flow rate at >=260 deg.C (about 500 deg.F) through a spinning cap to provide each filament, (2) drawing the obtained filaments for molecularly orienting the multifilament, and (3) substantially randomly depositing the obtained filaments on a carrier belt to provide a web in the method for producing a spunbonded material. The propylene polymer contains a set of additives including an organic phosphite, a hindered phenol compound, calcium stearate and optionally hydrotalcite compound.</p> |
