PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon-tip catheter with more improved insertion into the Vater's papilla, which can be easily inserted in a short time regardless of operator's skill in endoscope operation, in a balloon catheter which can be directly guided and inserted into the Vater's papilla. SOLUTION: This balloon-tip catheter comprises a catheter shaft made by connecting the tip end of a flexible tube which is equipped with a balloon in the front part and has a first lumen 25 penetrating through in the longitudinal direction and a second lumen 26 opening into the balloon inside to a tip end chip 30 comprising another flexible tube. The catheter has a guide part comprising a 20-60 mm long tube in front of the balloon 7 and the wet friction coefficient of the guide part except the tip end area is smaller than 0.5. |
