The invention relates to an individual-motor textiles machine component for package-winding, spinning over, twisting or texturing. The inventive component is configured for installation in a series of other components of the same type arranged side by side in the respective textiles machines, and comprises at least one rotationally mounted spindle (1) or false twisting unit. Said spindle or false twisting unit is driven by an individually associated converter-, especially -inverter-fed electromotor (30). A specifically associated control module (18, 19) is connected to the converter (17) or inverter, said control module having one or more data transmission interfaces and/or communications elements for linking to an external bus- or other communications system. The converter and the control module are located inside a shared housing (4) which is mounted directly on a motor housing (2) of the electromotor or is configured as one piece with the motor housing (2) and/or surrounds the electromotor as part of its motor housing (2). |
