PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a plurality of document data in desired format continuously by storing a created document data as a data to be printed, selecting document data to be synthesized therefrom, synthesizing them at a designated printing time and outputting one print job. SOLUTION: When a mode for synthesizing the print job of a document data is designated by an application, a screen for designating the file name and the order of synthesization of the print job is displayed. When a order is designated and the print job can be synthesized, a currently accepted document data is converted into an intermediate data and stored temporarily (S401-404). A new intermediate data synthesized according to the designated order is then synthesized with the current intermediate data and delivered sequentially to a printer control command generating program (S405-407). Finally, a printer control command is generated based on the intermediate data and printing is executed. According to the arrangement, printing can be performed continuously without being interrupted by other document data. |
