PURPOSE:To print out a picture with a page printer while one video RAM is in use and the picture is displayed on a liquid crystal display device by supplying a signal from the video RAM onto a memory picture display device at all times, supplying the signal of the video RAM to the page printer only when the picture is printed out on the page printer, and stopping picture refreshing. CONSTITUTION:An electronic file device main body 10 sends picture information and the picture information is stored in a VRAM 20. Then the picture signal stored in the VRAM 20 is transferred to an FLC liquid crystal display device 30, on which the signal is displayed. When a print output instruction for a page printer (LBP) 40 comes, refresh to the liquid crystal display device 30 is stopped and the transfer destination of the picture signal is changed from the liquid crystal display device 30 to the LBP 40 and the LBP 40 prints out the picture. |
