<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-efficiency, error-free dispensation by allowing each pharmacy server to access the master server for information and to audit inputted prescription data by examining such supplementary information as the patient's history of medicine taking, pathography, allergy, pregnancy, and lactation. SOLUTION: Provided are a master server 11 and plural pharmacy servers 12 (12A-12D) located respectively at pharmacies A-D. Data from the pharmacies A-D are stored in the master server 11 for the overall management of all the patients, and the server 12 in each of the pharmacies A-D stores its data about own patients only. The pharmacy server 12 accesses the master server 11 only upon receiving a new patient for the collection of all the informations about the new patient, and takes required steps. The pharmacy server 12 then audits the prescription data for the new patient by use of the supplementary information retrieved from the master server, resets its memory according to the retrieved information, and advises dispensation in compliance with the prescription that has been audited.</p> |
