PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape feeder in which a tape with a deep pocket and a long pitch feed is smoothly driven and cut by a cutting means. SOLUTION: In a tape feeder 10, a cutting unit 40 is provided frontward of a tape guide for guiding feeding of a tape 15. In the cutting unit 40, a fixed blade 43 is provided on a pedestal part 41 and an actuator 50 vertically moving blocks 44, 44 having a movable blade 45 is provided. Electronic parts of a pocket 16 of the tape 15 fed on the tape guide are picked up by a nozzle 61 of a transfer head 60. The empty tape 15 is cut by vertical moving of the movable blade 45 and is pushed out onto a receiver 47 and is dropped downward as a tape piece 15'. |
