PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute high speed broadcast communication of sufficient information in PHS automatic meter inspection by superimposing information indicating of broadcast communication on a PS calling number in an incoming identification code. SOLUTION: An incoming identification code among control physical slots is constituted by a system calling code and a PS calling number 33, while the calling number 33 is constituted of a one-bit broadcast bit 37 and a 12-bit information transmitting bit 39 in which time information, etc., is included. At batch calling, '1' is set in the broadcast 37, calling start time information is written every second in the information transmitting bit 39 and respective terminals are called every 5 msec. The intermittently driven terminals recognize a calling start time from time information and calculates a time for calling a base station to execute calling. The base station is called by respectively different timings, since the calling time at this time depends on the calling numbers of the respective terminals. Thus, multiple pieces of meter inspecting information are collected in a short time, without superimposition of calling timings. |
