PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excessive optical fiber length processor with which a construction is enabled without caring of the excessive length part of an optical fiber, the appearance of excessive length treatment is enabled and the optical fiber can be taken up without twisting its excessive length part. SOLUTION: An optical fiber 17 as a pulled-in outside line connected to the input side of a mutual optic/electric converter is provided with an optical fiber storage case 42 for taking up and storing the excessive length part of this optical fiber 17. Concerning the optical fiber storage case 42, a peripheral wall part 46 is formed around a base part 45 of a main body 43 of the case, and two cylindrical take-up reel parts 50 and 51 for winding the optical fiber 7 are provided on the base part 45 of the main body 43 of the case. On both the terminal sides of the peripheral wall part 46 around the main body 43 of the case, an optical fiber lead-out part 48 (49) is formed for leading out the optical fiber 17 wound around the take-up reel parts 50 and 51 and a lid body 44, which can be opened and closed, is attached to the main body 43 of the case. |
