PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently process data whose processing unit is 6 bits in the microcomputer of an 8-bit system or a 16-bit system. SOLUTION: A VBI(vertical blanking interval) data slicer IC 2 performs 6 sampling per unit state for digital data included in the 21st line of the video signals of an NTSC broadcasting system and transfers obtained data to the microcomputer 3 of the 8-bit system or the 16-bit system. By the microcomputer 3, the data of 6 sampling per unit state are gathered by at least 6 bits×4=24 bits and stored in a register. By an internal CPU, the data of 24 bits are processed as the set of 8 bits×3 = 24 bits. |
