PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup wherein the number of part items around a lens holder is reduced, the cost is reduced and the entire weight is reduced. SOLUTION: This optical pickup is provided with a lens holder 20 made of a heat resistant resin, an objective lens 50 for an optical pickup being enveloped inside and driving coils 24 and 25 being wound on an outer peripheral part thereof, a plurality of conductive suspension wires 21 for supporting the lens holder 20, projections 22 integrally formed with the lens holder 20 and equal in number to that of the wires 21, a coil locking part 22-1 for winding the end part of a coil integrally formed with the projections 22, a wire inserting hole 22-2 for inserting the end part of the wire 21 formed in the vicinity of the coil part of the projections 22, and a soldering part for electrically connecting the end part of the coil wound by the coil locking part 22-1 with the end part of the wire 21 inserted into the wire inserting hole 22-2 and mechanically fixing the same to the projections 22. |
