Liners for the main pool (L2) and for the steps (L1) are welded together at the factory. The main liner is hung from a templet (17) of the vertical wall. The step liner is placed on a three dimensional templet (16) of the steps, which is brought against the wall for welding. Independent claims are also included for the equipment used to carry out the process; and for the liner produced. Preferred Features: The two parts are welded together by extruding a technical thermoplastic, compatible with the liner material, onto the join. Following welding, the excess (L'1, L'2) is cut out, passing below the weld.
