ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner which prevents the occurrence of filming phenomenon on a photoreceptor and also prevents the deterioration of image quality by incorporating wax as a releasing agent into a toner. SOLUTION: Low mol.wt. polypropylene wax as a releasing agent is incorporated into a toner based on a bonding resin (resin binder) by 0.5-5 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the binder in <=0.3μm dispersion diameter of the wax in the binder to obtain the objective toner capable of preventing filming phenomenon on a photoreceptor as well as offsetting phenomenon in fixation and having improved fixability.
