<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the equipment for a Mayday system through which a Mayday signal is transmitted with high probability, even when part of the system is destroyed, on the occurrence of an emergency. SOLUTION: This equipment for a Mayday system that sends a Mayday signal asking for rescue is provided with a radio equipment that transmits a Mayday signal automatically according to an emergency detection signal or by the manual operation of the user and with plural antennas 31, 32 from which the Mayday signal is transmitted with high probability, even when either of the antennas is destroyed or out of order. Furthermore, a built-in antenna 24 or a telescopic rod antenna is provided to the radio equipment so that the Mayday signal is transmitted, even when the external antennas are out of order.</p> |
