<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain precise synchronism between a reception side synchronous digital hierarchy(SDH) transmitter and a reception side exchange through clock correction by means of insertion and extraction of clock correction information at the reception side exchange. SOLUTION: A reception side SDH transmitter 23 is provided with a timing difference detecting circuit 232 for detecting a timing difference between a carrier signal and a tributary signal, and with a clock correction information generating circuit 233 for generating and sending clock correction information based on the timing difference detected by the timing difference detecting circuit 232, whereas a reception side exchange 25 is provided with a clock correcting circuit 253 for correcting a clock signal inside the reception side exchange 25 based on information concerning time and direction to be corrected in the clock correction information.</p> |
