<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain one-component developer having good electrostatic charge starting property even at high temp. and high humidity, forming a good image free from unevenness in image density and negative ghost, capable of forming a stable image without imparting excess electric charges even at low temp. and low humidity, not causing image flowing even when paper having an especially high talc content is used and free from secondary trouble such as sticking to a photoreceptor or fog and to further obtain a one-component developer forming a stable image over a long period of time without lowering image density or causing unevenness in image density even when it is allowed to stand at high temp. and high humidity over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The one-component developer consists of toner particles consisting essentially of a bonding resin and a colorant and external additives. At least one of the external additives is magnetic powder having 0.35-0.6μm number average particle diameter obtd. by surface-treating magnetic particles with an Al compd.</p> |
