<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an image display characteristic excellent by suppressing a leak of light and disinclination, occurring in a bus line shielded liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: On this device, an angel of 45 degree is formed between a direction of rubbing an oriented film on the side of a TFT substrate 21 and a longitudinal direction of a data bus line 12. Moreover, a pre-tilt angle of the oriented film is 3 degrees or larger, and the rim of a picture element electrode 28 on a data bus line 12 is formed zigzag by the line segments 1 forming an angle of 10-30 degrees with the rubbing direction of the oriented film and the line segments 2 vertical to the longitudinal direction of the 1st bus line.</p> |
