PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflecting/transmitting mirror for a liquid crystal display excellent in characteristics of reflection and transmission and relatively easy to manufacture. SOLUTION: Plural reflecting planes 14 tilting in the same direction to their reference plane B is arranged on a transparent substrate. Reflecting illumination light is reflected by the surface of a reflecting plane 14 in the direction approximately orthogonal to a reference plane B, and transmitting illumination light is reflected by the surface reflection of the reflecting plane 14 in the direction approximately orthogonal to the reference plane B following the back surface reflection of the reflection plane 14. |
