PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generating device which makes it possible to reproduce real and smooth motion data and an information storage medium. SOLUTION: When a moving body 20 enters a 2nd area where motion interpolation is not performed from a 1st area 50 where the motion interpolation is performed, connection motion data connecting motion data reproduced in the 1st area 50 and motion data reproduced in the 2nd area 52 are reproduced. The connection motion data are reproduced by correcting the interpolation rate of the motion interpolation performed in the 1st area 50 in a correction area 54. Even when the moving body 20 lands after jumping and then returns to the 1st area, the connection motion data are reproduced. The motion interpolation is carried out according to travel data on the position, direction, speed, acceleration, etc., of the moving body 20. The motion of a character 22 is interpolated according to the perpendicular acceleration. |
