PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the proper recovering property of a toner recycling means by changing recovering capacity in accordance with toner concentration in the magnetic brush of the toner recycling means and toner quantity used for developing by a developing means. SOLUTION: A first toner concentration detecting device S1 as a first toner concentration detecting means is provided so as to be opposed to the magnetic brush of a sleeve 110. The first toner concentration detecting device S1 is a reflection type detecting device, and changes the recovering condition of a toner recycling device 100 by measuring the toner concentration of the magnetic brush recovering residual toner after transfer. Also, a second toner concentration detecting device S2 as a second toner detecting means which is provided in the proximity of the exit side of the discharged toner of the toner recycling device 100 and is opposed to the photoreceptive drum 10 and is the reflection type detecting device is provided. Then, the concentration of the discharged toner on the photoreceptive drum 10 discharged by the toner recycling device 100 is measured, and the change of the recovering condition of the toner recycling device 100 is made possible. |
