SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AGENT EXECUTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation of an agent and to reduce a network overhead by generating an object of a moving type agent including data and executable codes by a 1st computer and executing the moving type agent by a 2nd computer. SOLUTION: An agent 10 is equipped with the moving type object which can move on a network 16 from the 1st computer 12 to the 2nd computer 14. The agent 10 is generated on the 1st computer for a specific purpose and stored in a memory and has both the data and executable codes. The agent 10 is executed by the 1st computer 12 and transmitted over the network 16 to move to the 2nd computer 14. Then the agent 10 is restarted on the 2nd computer 14. The agent 10 operates according to agent path information after the execution on the 2nd computer 14.
