PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card which requires the matching of a fingerprint when an amount of money larger than a certain amount is handled and eliminates the need for the matching of the fingerprint when a smaller amount of money is handled and is easy to handle and high in security and to provide the using method therefor. SOLUTION: An IC card reader-writer 2 reads fingerprint information out and extracts fingerprint data when the IC card 1 having a recording part for the fingerprint information and a recording part for money amount information is inserted, a fingerprint reader 3 which reads a fingerprint of a user out and generates fingerprint data, and a fingerprint data matching device 4 stores the fingerprint data extracted by the IC card reader writer 2 and the fingerprint data generated by the fingerprint reader 3. Consequently, the real user is identified and the amount of money is recorded at the recording part of the IC card 1. |
