PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter apparatus which is small-sized and lightweight, has controllability free of deterioration, is of practical use even if its capacity is large, and has a DC-C converter provided with an insulating means between the input and output. SOLUTION: A DC input voltage Ein is given to an reactor L through a pair of semiconductor switches Q1, Q2. Both terminals of the winding of the reactor L are connected to a capacitor C1 via a pair of diodes D1, D2. While the pair of semiconductor switches Q1, Q2 are in an on-state, a voltage of a polarity shown in the figure is applied to the reactor L and a current increases. The accumulated quantity of the electromagnetic energy of the reactor L increases. During this time, the sum of the voltages having polarities shown in the figure of the reactor L and the capacitor C1 is applied to the pair of diodes D1, D2, and they are in a cut-off state. If the pair of semiconductor switches Q1, Q2 are turned off, a voltage of a polarity is reversed to that shown in the figure is induced in the winding of the reactor L, and the pair of diodes D1, D2 turn into a conductive state, and electromagnetic energy stored in the reactor L is given off to the capacitor 1 and an inverter circuit 11. |
