PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serial numerical operation unit capable of performing a required numerical operation while reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: This unit is provided with plural shift registers (r1-rn) capable of right shift and left shift and provided with a bit width for requested operation accuracy, an input selector (sel2) for selecting two from the shift registers, a 1-bit operation unit (ALU) for computing a 1-bit width for the shift registers selected in the input selector and an output selector (sel1) for selecting one of external serial devices and the output of the 1-bit operation unit. |
