PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently house plural welded reinforcing sleeves with high density by providing a split sleeve for housing the plural welded reinforcing sleeves of optical fibers with each other and providing an openable and closable opening part on the side wall part of the split sleeve. SOLUTION: The welded reinforcing sleeves 12 are housed in this welded part housing case 10 by matching a longitudinal direction. At the time of housing the welded reinforcing sleeves 12 in the welded part housing case 10, for instance, the opening part 13 (slit) formed at the side wall part 10a of the welded part housing case 10 is pushed and spread by elastically deforming the welded part housing case 10, the target number of the welded reinforcing sleeves 12 are inserted to the inside of the welded part housing case 10 through the opening part 13 and then, force for pushing and spreading the opening part 13 is released. Thus, the opening part 13 is returned to the width dimension of less than 1.5 mm and the welded reinforcing sleeves 12 are prevented from jumping out to an outer side through the opening part 13. |
