PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing board sticking device by which the characteristic change of a polarizing board is prevented, the setting or the like of conditions is facilitated, the force applied onto a panel and the polarizing board is suppressed and quality can be stabilized or improved. SOLUTION: A first stage 1 for holding a liquid crystal panel 15 is arranged on the upside, a second stage 4 for holding a polarizing board 16 is arranged on the downside, the first stage 1 can be moved in Y direction and the second stage 4 can be oscillated vertically. Besides, a sticking mechanism 5 is installed under the moving area of the first stage 1 and the sticking mechanism 5 is composed of a pulse motor 7, a pair of cylinders 9 to be elevated by driving the pulse motor 7, and roller 13 for sticking for press-contacting the polarizing board 16 to the liquid crystal panel 15 while being elevated by driving a pair of cylinders 9. Since the polarizing board 16 is chucked on the surface of the second stage 4 positioned lower in vacuum, it is not necessary to maintain the vacuum chuck of the polarizing board 16 until sticking work is completed. Thus, the generation of tensile force is prevented and the characteristic change of the polarizing board 16 can be prevented. |
