<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspecting apparatus that can be used both for suspension insulators and for tension insulators, reciprocate by itself along the insulators and light in weight. SOLUTION: This apparatus is set to an insulator string A to hold shades S of insulators B, including a main body-supporting means 2 arranged at a main body 1 between the insulator strings A, so that it can be in contact and out of contact to the shade S of the insulator B, a fixed guide 3 coming in touch with an outer circumferential part of the shade part S from inside and sliding in a longitudinal direction of the insulator string A, a turning guide 4 turning into contact or out of contact from inside to the outer circumferential edge spaced from a position where the fixed guide 3 comes in touch and an inspecting means 5 measuring electric insulation properties of an insulator metal fitting M of the insulator B.</p> |
