<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the frequency of cleaning by making the roller of a mouse variable. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a ball 1 to be rotated corresponding to the moving amount of a main body 8, two rollers 2a and 2b for detecting the components of the rotating amount of this ball 1 in two orthogonal directions, rotaries 3a and 3b for converting the rotating amounts detected by the rollers 2a and 2b into distance signals while being connected with the rollers 2a and 2b through screw structure, pads 6a and 6b for pressing the rotaries 3a and 3b, and springs 5a and 5b for supporting the buttons 4a and 4b linked with the pads 6a and 6b. By rotating the roller 2a through a driver or the like while pressing the button 4a and fixing the rotary 3a, the contact part of the ball 1 and the roller can be changed and the frequency of cleaning can be decreased. The relation of the roller 2b, rotary 3b and button 4b is made similar as well.</p> |
