PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card reader simple in mechanism, and capable of being easily assembled and stably transporting a card. SOLUTION: The card can be stably transported by forming misalignment preventing parts 25, 26 to prevent misalignment at an upper side main body 21 of the card reader and a lower side main body 22 of the card reader to be combined with each other and to form a card passage, forming an extension chip and a connecting part between one main body and a surface at the side to be the card passage with prescribed intervals and providing shutter mechanism to connect both main bodies and a connecting member for a front panel, thereby engaging them with one main body and connecting the main body to the other main body. |
