PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to quick discovery of merchandises or information really desired by a user by providing a system in which only information desired by the user can be primarily selected from among plural information by using individual information. SOLUTION: Ready-made individual information preliminarily prepared by a user himself or herself is stored in an IC card owned by the user. At the time of purchasing merchandise such as a clock, an IC card 2 is inserted into terminal equipment 7 of a retail shop, and the individual information necessary for the purchase of the clock among the individual information stored in the IC card 2 is transmitted through a VAN (value added network) 4 to a host computer 5. Then, the merchandise information of a clock stored in the host computer 5 which is suited to the transmitted individual information related with the clock is primarily selected, and the information of the selected result is returned to the terminal equipment 7, and displayed. |
