PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a rubber or plastic power cable connection part which can stably-form a high-quality extrusion type mold connection part. SOLUTION: A method extrudes rubber or plastic to the connection part of a rubber or plastic power cable for molding into an extrusion type mold connection part, whereas a screen mesh 10 for removing foreign matter in rubber or plastic is disposed at a prescribed position in an extrusion conduit for rubber or plastic to measure pressures (p), (q) at places before and after the screen mesh 10 in the extrusion conduit and control the pressure (p), so that a difference (p-q) between the pressures may be within such a prescribed value that the screen mesh 10 is prevented from being broken.
