摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid polymer thin film which becomes conductive by light irradiation by intercalating a surface active pigment in double helix nucleic acid polymer and making the polymer in a thin film. SOLUTION: As a pigment intercalator, compounds produced by providing surface active property by introducing hydrophobic group into pigments such as acridine Orange and ethidium bromide known of causing an intercalation phenomenon between base pairs of a nucleic acid polymer are preferably used. A photo-responsive electric circuit becoming conductive by light radiation, a photosensor having a display means driven by electric communication to the circuit, and a photo-sensitive transistor capable of changing the electric current intensity corresponding to the wavelength and/or the intensity of the radiated light are obtained by installing the conductive nucleic polymer thin film 1 integrated on a substrate. The conductive nucleic acid polymer thin film 1 is cast in a pair of comb like electrodes 2 and an electric power source V and an electric current meter A are connected to form a circuit. The circuit is electrically conductive by radiating light and making the conductive nucleic acid polymer thin film 1 conductive.
