<p>A method and apparatus for confirming the presence of contact lens packages (7) in a secondary carton is disclosed, where a sensor (12, 15) that detects the presence or absence of metallic lidstock (5) of the packages through the secondary carton. A set of seonsors, for example of an inductive productivity type which are able to detect metal, can confirm the proper number and arrangement of contact lens packages which are included in secondary packaging.</p> |
