The securing casing is matched to the cartridge to be fired in calibre, therefore in diameter and in length to the cartridge magazine and is fed into the cartridge magazine through the normal loading process. A guide tube with a securing bolt and a locking pin are pushed from the weapon mouth in the direction of the cartridge magazine. When the securing bolt engages in the securing casing, the lock is bolted, in that the securing bolt, which is connected with the lock, blocks. It is now possible to secure the securing casing with the bolt.
